Back, chest and beard

Full back is $320 a session and booked as 1 hour 15 minutes. Six sessions are $1,740, which is $290 each.

Chest can be booked alone ($180), with the shoulders ($285) or with the abdomen ($270).

Full beard or facial hair is $170 a session, and the back of the neck $90.

Before

Before a men's laser session

  • Shave the area the day before. If you can't reach your back, say so when you book.
  • For the beard or the back of the neck, come with no aftershave, balm or beard oil on the area.
  • Keep the area out of the sun between sessions, and don't wax or pluck it: shaving only.
  • Tell your technician about any medication, skin condition or recent treatment on the area.

What happens at a men's laser session

  1. Check in

    Come up to the third floor at 301-141 Victoria Street. A men's session is booked as 1 hour 15 minutes.

  2. Prepare

    The area is cleaned, and you and your technician wear protective glasses.

  3. Treat

    The Candela handpiece is passed over the area, a small section at a time, with the wavelength and settings chosen for your skin and hair.

  4. Plan

    Your next session is booked with you. Packages of 3 or 6 lower the price of each.

After

After your men's laser session

  • Some redness or warmth on the area is common afterwards and usually settles within a few hours.
  • For a day or two, skip hot baths, saunas, hot yoga and hard workouts, and do not scrub the area.
  • Protect the area from the sun between sessions.
  • Shaving between sessions is fine. Treated hair can seem to keep growing for a week or two and then shed.
