Women's and men's underarms

Women's underarms are booked as 20 minutes, at $99 a session. Men's underarms are their own area on the men's menu: a 30-minute appointment at $100.

Because the visit is short, underarms are easy to add to another area, and they are in all three laser bundles below.

Before

Getting ready for underarm laser

  • Shave your underarms the day before.
  • On the day, skip deodorant and antiperspirant, or say so when you arrive so the area can be cleaned first.
  • Wear a top you can easily slip an arm out of.
  • Keep your underarms away from self-tan between sessions.
  • Tell your technician about any medication or skin condition, and if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

What happens at an underarm laser session

  1. Check in

    Come up to the third floor at 301-141 Victoria Street. A underarm session is booked as 20 minutes.

  2. Prepare

    The area is cleaned, and you and your technician wear protective glasses.

  3. Treat

    The Candela handpiece is passed over the area, a small section at a time, with the wavelength and settings chosen for your skin and hair.

  4. Plan

    Your next session is booked with you. Packages of 3 or 6 lower the price of each.

After

After your underarm laser session

  • Some redness or warmth on the area is common afterwards and usually settles within a few hours.
  • For a day or two, skip hot baths, saunas, hot yoga and hard workouts, and do not scrub the area.
  • Protect the area from the sun between sessions.
  • Shaving between sessions is fine. Treated hair can seem to keep growing for a week or two and then shed.
